Title: | Bring CER to Your Classroom (P152) |
Description: | The Claim, Evidence, Reasoning (CER) framework is an essential tool for structuring scientific arguments and promoting critical thinking in the scientific process. This presentation will explore the CER model as a method for developing well-supported, logical conclusions in science. Participants will learn how to formulate clear claims, select and analyze relevant evidence, and construct sound reasoning to link evidence to their claims. Through practical examples, the presentation will demonstrate how the CER approach enhances the clarity, credibility, and rigor of scientific communication. By the end of the session, attendees will be equipped with the skills to apply CER effectively in their own classroom. |
