Description:Teachers are continually striving to help students become better critical thinkers, problem solvers, and scientifically literate citizens. To encourage students to function as independent thinkers, more opportunities need to be provided in science classes that allow for greater student involvement and initiative. In this session, activities will be explored that can be used to engage students in critical thinking skills. Attendees will leave with strategies that they can use in a variety of scientific disciplines.
