Description: | Join us as we share our experiences in high school chemistry with anchoring events and whiteboard planning described in "Ambitious Science Teaching." We will explain how to create a unit plan that highlights an anchoring event, and we will share examples of students' initial and revised models. Of course, be prepared to experience some of the joys of chemistry with a few simple and fun demonstrations that can be used in your class. |
