Title: | Using Group Evaluations to Assess Peer Performance (P116) |
Description: | Do you find assigning group grades to be a challenge? Has a student ever come to you saying that other members are not contributing to the assignment? In this hands-on activity, educators will be put into groups with specific roles to complete a task. We will use a peer evaluation calculation to assign each group member points. The result is that the amount of work done by each member will be reflected on the overall grade for each individual. A whole group discussion will follow. |
