Title:Reimagining a REAL world STEM Program (P169)
Description:How do you go from the spark of an idea to an academically rigorous experiential STEM project that puts empowering global citizenship and this content area at the center of learning? We want the next generation to be intelligent, empathetic, and motivated to make change. In this workshop participants will share their best lessons for both in and out of the classroom that encourage students to understand others and themselves and to be both thinkers and doers as they leverage STEM to make the world a better place. Attendees of this session will explore relevant ways to use real life scenarios to engage students with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math through experiential learning and travel.
