Title: | Virtual Arboretum: Digital Resources to Bring the Forest into Your Classroom (P139) |
Description: | Whether or not you take your students on a field trip, you can bring the forest to them with digital resources through The Morton Arboretum's virtual bundle content. In this session, participants will uncover virtual bundle resources and activities, sample activities through hands-on exploration, and learn how to access these resources for free. All virtual bundle activities are aligned to grade-level specific Next Generation Science Standards and in some cases, Common Core State Standards. Although developed for teachers to utilize with students during remote and hybrid teaching, these resources can be utilized in conjunction with field trips, or as stand alone resources within your science curriculum. |
